General Position Summary

At Lids, our Retail Sales Team serves as the enthusiastic ambassadors of the Lids brand. These hat experts are committed to igniting the love for sports and fashion items by catering to the needs of our dedicated customers and casual shoppers. Our customers depend on our team to assist them in discovering and choosing products that reflect their uniqueness, team loyalty, and personal flair. Working in our retail stores demands that our Retail Sales Team bring the energy to deliver an exceptional Lids experience to every customer, maintain our precise product displays, and possess in-depth knowledge about our products and services.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Produce sales growth by offering top-notch customer service.
  • Meet or surpass Company Objectives in all key performance indicators.
  • Engage in store upkeep following the current visual standards, including appropriate merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in line with the Dress Code Policy.

Control Expenses

  • Protect Company assets in accordance with LIDS Retail policies.
  • Take part in managing store inventory by handling shipments and rearranging merchandise.
  • Assist in ensuring accurate product counts consistently and efficiently.
  • Support and adhere to all LIDS Retail policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Capability to initiate and complete tasks independently.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and related software programs.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 20kg.
  • Aptitude to climb ladders and work with arms raised.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrate eligibility to work in Australia.
Provider Enabled SAP as service provider
  • 'route' is utilized for session stickiness.
  • 'careerSiteCompanyId' is employed to direct the request to the correct data center.
  • 'JSESSIONID' is stored on the visitor's device during the session for visitor identification purposes.
