Return to Work Specialist - Workers Compensation, Personal Injury | Charlestown, NSW

You'll be responsible for:

  • Ability to prioritise claims based on injury complexity and return to work capability
  • Understanding of behavioural economics to assess and address motivational and psychosocial issues
  • Analyse performance and develop best practice injury management initiatives and strategies that supports continuous improvement of return to health and work outcomes
  • Build team capability by providing tailored coaching and mentoring on early intervention initiatives, strategic and holistic direction on claims, and injury management decisions
  • Design and facilitate training sessions to embed strategies and processes
  • Complete strength/need/risk assessments on individual claims and participate in claims reviews as required
  • Follows the Allianz Case Management model and Injury Management Program in line with business requirements
  • Establish and maintain Employer relationships and deliver a high level of customer service to all stakeholders

Important to your success:

  • Tertiary qualification in allied health (desirable)
  • Several years experience working within a Workers Compensation environment or similar
  • Highly developed skills in coaching, influencing and relationship building
  • Excellent communication, problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service and customer focus skills
  • A drive for change and continual improvement
