About the role
This is no ordinary job. You will be the key in driving our business growth for our services in New South Wales, at an exciting time where we are experiencing rapid growth
Your key responsibilities will include, but certainly not limited to:
To grow new hydraulic hose and fittings business through the identification and conversion of major Mining, OEM and EU account opportunities throughout New South Wales.
Managing, mentoring and assisting a team of Area Sales Managers to meet their targets and grow the business.Develop new business sales strategies for company sales growth targets and franchise and distributor growth objectives.
So, you get loads of variety and all sorts of daily challenges. No two days are the same. No time to get bored and so much to do
Skills and Experience
If you're someone who thrives in bringing on brand new business opportunities and has a background in the mining, mechanical, industrial or automotive industry, this role could be for you Effective sales and negotiation skills will be imperative in this role
To succeed in this role you will need:
Seasoned sales professional with a 'hunter' mentality
A proven track record in identifying and converting new business
Advanced influencing & negotiating skills
Results focused with a very high level of initiative
High level of interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Experience in managing a sales team
Ideally you will be an existing Sales Manager with similar experience in a service-based industry. Experience in the hydraulics and/or mining industry would be an advantage and well regarded
