Job description:

Role Outline
Work with one of the top government agencies in Sydney

  • Initial 4month contract with potential extensions
  • Flex work arrangements with offices in Sydney CBD
  • Support and coordinate a range of communication methods

Primary purpose of the role:

Support and coordinate a range of communication and stakeholder engagement services including preparation of presentation materials, stakeholder information, issues management and digital strategies to support the achievement of organisational objectives

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of communication strategies and activities to support the achievement of business objectives and outcome
  • Develop a wide range of internal and external communication materials and collaterals to effectively manage stakeholder information and engagement needs
  • Support and contribute to the development and maintenance of digital contents for relevant websites and/or social media to ensure timely and accurate update of information
  • Coordinate logistics requirements and develop communication materials to facilitate events and forums to meet business objectives and needs
  • Support the development and maintenance of key stakeholder relationships, including the use of satisfaction tools and reporting to ensure a positive outcome
  • Develop guidelines and protocols for communication material in accordance with organisational requirements to ensure quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to effectively coordinate communication services to support optimal service delivery

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3+ years in a similar position
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in at least one area of Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • You will be a dynamic, passionate, selfmotivated individual with a positive and handson approach, who enjoys working in a high performing culture
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining high quality outputs.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading communications projects.
  • Strong and confident verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional professional writing skills
  • Articulate, strategic thinker, results orientated combined with strong attention to detail
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal skills and experience effectively engaging with a wide variety of audiences
