Reporting to the
GCR (Group Credit Risk) Fraud Risk Manager, you will co-ordinate the detection and mitigation of Fraud Risk matters impacting Optus, along with promoting and identifying areas where there are gaps to mitigate fraud for our customers.


You'll also be responsible for the delivery of various projects and initiatives in support of the fraud risk and GCR business plan and will work with the Fraud Manager to design proactive programs and processes that deliver reductions in incidence and magnitude.

This will include, but not be limited to, methodologies and a framework for the risk assessments of products, services, and processes.


Additionally, you will ensure alignment against corporate policies and critical metrics issued by GCR as well as demonstrating standard process within the Optus Group.


The position is key in proactively minimising fraud risk whilst maximising potential revenue, identifying fraud trends and reporting insights to the wider group.

This is an operational role with responsibility for coordinating the management of tasks assigned to the team, victim rectification and process improvement.


To be successful, you will have a history of handling business/ risk management principles in addition to being a true people manager with a strong technical capability.

You will have strong commercial acumen and solid IT literacy, analysis and reporting ability.
