About the role:

We are currently looking for a brilliant
Claims Consultant with Retail experience for our growing and formidable Claims team.

You may already be a Claims Consultant looking for a new opportunity, or an experienced Senior Case Manager ready to progress.


You will be providing a personal and empathetic service to all Life Customers and be responsible for the proficient management, and assessment of all Life Claims within the stated authority limits.

You will be joining a small, intimate and focused team and an organisation that always has the customer at the forefront of their minds.


The requirements of the role include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and claims management practices in line with ClearView's Claims philosophy
  • Ability to gather and decipher relevant information that will assist in management of the claim
  • Adhere to Life Insurance Code Of Practice (LICOP) and internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  • Deliver effective case management to support strong claims strategies and customer outcomes
  • Take a collaborative approach to claims management by leveraging support from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to work within a team environment including internal and external stakeholders
  • Consulting Medical Officers (CMO) Reinsurance partners

Your Experience:

  • Life insurance claims management experience across either Retail or Group Claims
  • Previous claims experience across personal injury insurance including Workers Compensation (ideally)
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and governing principles within Life Insurance
  • Tertiary Qualifications and or Allied Health background (Psychology, Occupational Therapy, etc), Nursing, Law or Accounting (ideally)
  • Strong written and verbal communicator who can build rapport, display empathy and manage ongoing expectations in a clear manner
