Business Analyst - 12 Month contract- Secuirty Clearance Required

Our client is looking to bring on board a business analyst to support in establishing and delivering a people resource management database you will review, allocate and manage resource levels. Ensure there is clear understanding of current/planned and future resourcing levels required to deliver against current and future work scope.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workforce analysis to align resources with program demands, strategic planning, and workforce reporting.
  • Develop and manage a resource management database, overseeing the review, allocation, and management of resource levels.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to ensure clear understanding of current, planned, and future resource requirements for various work scopes.
  • Work closely with the Capability Lead to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of resource needs.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Manage and develop the resource database to effectively oversee resource capability and capacity, supporting resource forecasts.
  • Analyse current, planned, and future resource levels and provide guidance to the Management Team to support recruitment and capability management.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure resource data is of decision-making quality.
  • Maintain data attributes within the resource database to ensure supplied resources meet forecast demands.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to articulate forecast resource requirements based on project timelines, team capacity, and organizational goals.
  • Maintain organizational charts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation.
  • Provide support to the Workforce Planning working Group, including reporting and data analysis.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in resource management or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with data analysis software, like Saviom or Tableau, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience working within collaborative or alliance contracting frameworks is highly desirable.

Secuirty Clearance of Negative Vetting or Baseline is required for this role.
