About the role

TAFE NSW are looking to hire casual Assessors in Ultimo who will assess students across the TAFE NSW Sydney Region. A suitability list will be created for the Sydney Region.

The Assessor will carry out grading for students, with a focus on supporting students in achieving the completion of tasks and identify areas that may require further training. You will work within a team of industry professionals in an engaging environment.

Note: This role does not teach or deliver training.

About You

If you have a passion for the Business Administration Services industry and enjoy sharing your expertise, this position is perfect for you. As a dedicated and knowledgeable individual, you bring relevant qualifications and experience in Business Administration services and adult education.

You have a customer-focused approach, with demonstrated experience in establishing relationships with and providing exceptional customer service to diverse individuals.

Your customer-focused approach shines through, as you have successfully built relationships and delivered exceptional service to a diverse clientele. Your outstanding communication skills and ability to facilitate adult learning set you apart.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Appropriate qualifications in Business Administration and/or appropriate qualifications in Legal
  • TAE 40116 Assessor skill set or equivalent
  • Understanding of the content of learning materials and the processes used in the discipline area and a commitment to maintain professional currency.
  • Commitment and ability to provide feedback in an adult learning environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students.
