As we continue to grow and take on more balustrade and steel structural projects, we are looking for a talented Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our dynamic team.

Position: Civil Engineering Draftsperson (Full Time Position)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Frequently visit construction sites to perform site measurements and inspections of existing buildings or steel structures.
  2. Prepare cost estimations based on tender documents, specifications, and other relevant materials and negotiate with clients to secure contracts.
  3. Utilize AutoCAD, including 3D modelling, to produce approval drawings as per site measurements and the latest construction drawing packages.
  4. Secure drawing approvals from architects and engineers, making necessary amendments as per their comments.
  5. Prepare fabrication shop drawings and generate Bill of Materials (BOM).
  6. Order materials, off-the-shelf components, and laser cutting items from regular suppliers.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification in a related engineering field.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD software including 3D Modelling.
  3. 2-3 years of previous experience in the engineering balustrade or structural steel industry.
  4. Strong attention to detail as required in construction drawings.
  5. Excellent to moderate knowledge in Microsoft Office package and project planning tool.

Working Hours:

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Salary:

$75,000 to $85,000 per annum for the right candidate.
