Architectectural Draftsperson

**Position overview**:
We are looking for an Architectural Draftsperson to work in tandem with our internal team, external Architects and Builders, to help bring their concepts to life. You will prepare designs and drawings and liaise with builders and contractors across multiple projects.

**Qualifications / Experience required**:
You will need at least 2 years of relevant experience and hold a highly relevant Degree level qualification.

**Responsibilities include the following**:

- Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice
- Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications
- Preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings
- Preparing a range of documentation packages such as Tender/Construction/As Built
- Preparing schedules such as window/door and material finishes
- Liaising with clients, builders, surveyors, engineers, other design specialists such as landscapers, suppliers, architects, building designers, government authorities, building surveyors/ certifiers
- Coordinating works programs
- Contract administration including regular site visits to inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards
- Resolving technical queries during the construction phase
- Calculating costs and estimating time scales

Remuneration on offer between $70K to $90K depending on experience.
