We are seeking an experienced Support Worker for Transportation to join our team.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to individuals with disabilities and/or special needs.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients reach their destinations safely and on time while providing a high level of customer service and support.


To be successful in the role, you will be required the following

  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or special needs preferred
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Ability to provide personal and domestic care to the clients who live with disability
  • A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • High level of time management and organisational ability
  • Willingness to participate in further education opportunities
  • Minimum 23 weekdays of availability on a weekly basis
  • Previous experience working as support worker or similar (preferred)

Essential Requirements

  • No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is an advantage
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police check and Working With Children Check
  • Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Female Vietnamese or Cantonese speaking staff is highly preferred as requested by the client

Base pay
From $30.54 per hour

Job Type:
Casual

Salary:
Up to $38.08 per hour
