What does a normal day look like:
- Day shift $36.00 per hour or afternoon shift $41.04 per hour
- Local trips
- Deliveries of either plants, refrigerated, taughtliner, container, steel, machinery or ugly freight
- Coupling and uncoupling of trailers around yard
- Reversing trailers onto docks
- Bulk deliveries to clients

Our client's business continues to see growth in their industry and are looking for great people that share their passion for customer service and take pride in the work they do each day. If you are semi-retired or looking for a casual second job or are in the mining industry looking for work while you are home, we have vacant casual positions available for when you want to work. This role is casual - 2-4 days a week afternoon shifts 1:30pm starts, 6-7 hours approximately.
What Skills Should I have:
- Understand Fatigue Management
- Be able to implement Fuel Management techniques
- Be able to implement Fuel efficient driving techniques
- Must be competent and able to reverse trailers
- Demonstrate daily safety checks
- Reliable and Punctual
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Problem Solving - Site is a fast-paced transport business that requires you to think on your feet
- Team Player - You understand how we all work together to achieve a shared goal
What are the requirements:
- Current HC Licence
- Semi-trailer experience 2 years
- Road Ranger or Automatic Experience
- Must be competent and able to reverse trailers
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- A good five-year driving report
- Unlimited work rights to work in Australia
- Forklift licence not required but an advantage
- MSIC licence not a must but an advantage
