Job Summary:

Driver Hire is seeking an experienced Local MR Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting general freight in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a medium rigid truck to deliver goods to various locations in South East QLD.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, with minimal hand deliveries and lifting up to 10kgs maximum.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
  • Meet the requirements of the role, including a current MR Licence with minimum 2 years' experience, previous local experience, and a reliable and punctual attitude.

Requirements:

  • Current MR Licence with minimum 2 years' experience.
  • Previous Local experience - strong knowledge of South East QLD.
  • Reliable and punctual - able to work independently and in a team.
  • Great customer service.
  • Updated Traffic history report.
  • Must be physically fit and healthy.
  • Understanding of WH&S in the workplace.
  • Must be able to use a scanner and complete run paperwork, also use a work diary some days.
