Our practice spans across four levels and the tower, each holding historical significance within the art deco movement and Australia's architectural heritage.

We boast a diverse team of 60 practitioners, including 20 board registered specialists in oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. Additionally, our nursing department consists of dedicated senior and junior dental nurses who play a vital role in the daily operations of our practice.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity at Smile Solutions for a full-time General Dental Assistant. This role will be based in our stunning practice spread across three levels and the tower of the Manchester Unity Building.

The role involves:

  • Assisting during various treatments for Oral Health Therapists, General Dentists, and Board Registered Specialists
  • Maintaining high infection control standards
  • Handling sterilisation procedures and room changeovers

Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Dental Assisting preferred
  • Hold a Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong understanding of infection control procedures
  • Familiarity with D4W software is a bonus
  • Display a high level of initiative and motivation
  • Demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow
  • Ability to seamlessly integrate into a large practice
