The Legal and Legislation Division is a critical partner to DEECA's policy groups responsible for designing and delivering services and programs.

It is an exciting time to join the Division as it prioritises what matters and optimises its capacity.

This position will support the Division and contribute to reforming and developing innovative practice management processes within supportive team culture and dynamic work environment.


About you:


Demonstrated experience in a business support and advisory capacity is essential; experience in this capacity in an in-house legal practice would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Demonstrated experience supporting a senior lawyer or executive in an environment requiring management of competing priorities is essential.

Demonstrated proficiency using technology and systems in an office environment at an intermediary to advanced level, with demonstrated strong capability in SharePoint, Excel, Word and Outlook to store and present information effectively, is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 9 months. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
