ABOUT THE ROLE


The King's School is currently seeking to engage four highly skilled and dedicated Music Peripatetics to join our music team at the North Parramatta campus.

Current vacancies exist for Music tutors in Clarinet, Piano, Trumpet and Voice.

Music at The King's School is considered very important to our students' overall development and our music programs cater for all levels of performance.


  • Successful applicants must be available for tutoring sessions and rehearsals during the week
  • Occasional weekend and evening work may be required
  • Session times will be negotiated with successful applicants, but please note that lessons take place mostly during school hours.

To be successful for this role, you will need to have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • Bachelor degree in music performance is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in your area of discipline
  • Experience working with students in an educational or performance setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
