Purpose of the Role

Join our team of delivery specialists to create outstanding digital experiences for our customers. Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure our features meet or exceed expectations within a complex financial system.

Help build and maintain Australia's top web-based platforms for quoting, selling, and managing insurance policies, with a strong focus on customer experience.

As a Business Analyst, you'll work closely with the Product Owner, development team, and other business functions to document requirements clearly and ensure they meet business needs and system constraints. Collaborate with our UX/UI team to represent customer interests.

Position Accountabilities

  • Design and deliver digital web solutions for quoting, selling, and managing insurance policies to achieve business performance outcomes.
  • Prioritize and execute key parts of a strategic delivery stream.
  • Perform Agile duties such as running workshops, estimation sessions, and capturing detailed requirements.
  • Contribute to a Community of Practice to align the Business Analyst role in the delivery process.
  • Ensure a consistent customer experience in digital web formats.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to meet complex business requirements.
  • Collaborate with a Product Owner to produce Requirements, Stories, and Tasks for the delivery team.
  • Facilitate workshops to determine requirements and solution suitability.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and create business specifications and solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • Proficiency with large, complex technology stacks and stakeholder management
  • Significant web ecommerce experience
  • Expertise in UX/UI principles and practices
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience in financial and regulated industries
  • Proficiency with Jira & Confluence
  • Skill in organizing and facilitating workshops
