Your new role:

Our Team Leader manages a well-established team of Support Workers within our Accommodation Services to drive an exceptional standard of support to our participants - promoting inclusivity, choice and control in all aspects of operations. Drawing on leadership experience, passion and innovation, the Team Leader will ensure in-depth knowledge of protocols around medication, risk management and reporting requirements as well as restrictive practices.

The role will be full-time, Monday to Friday and working in Miranda with a base salary between $82,000 and $88,000 (plus superannuation) depending on relevant skills, experience and qualifications.

  • High level communication skills to effectively liaise with families, carers and other organisations regarding the provision of support to clients.
  • Ability to identify team and individual development needs and attend to performance related discussions as required.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Sound administrative and computer skills to utilise various internal systems for client management, rostering, record-keeping and risk management.
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex needs and behaviours.
