The RoleA full-time opportunity exists for a wine industry professional who has strong Victorian trade relationships, is self-driven, and is motivated by the achievement of key business results.
You will be responsible for managing sales and best practice customer service across an allocated region in Victoria, overseeing both On & Off-premise accounts including wholesalers and Banner Groups.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing plans to grow the distribution footprint in the allocated territory;Achieving target call rates and coverage of customers;Achieving targeted sales and margin growth;Successfully managing a geographic customer base;Developing new business opportunitiesConducting retail product tastings onsite as required;Actively demonstrating teamwork via contribution to a national sales team;Timely and efficient administration of sales; andTaking on any additional responsibility required by the business
About you:
Key requirementsMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (liquor sales or FMCG at field level or Hospitality background);A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related discipline will be strongly regarded;WSET level 2 minimum desired;Strong industry relationships;Proven ability to develop & create sound commercial relationships across relevant trade channels on and off premise;Proven commercial acumen and organisational skills to drive business results;Excellent communication skills with the ability to encourage sales;Current driver's license; andPassion for the hospitality/wine industry
