About the Role:

We are seeking an Injury Management Specialist to join a top provider in Canberra.

Utilizing your vast experience and strong reputation in the industry, the Injury Management Specialist will be responsible for delivering services and establishing Service Agreements with key customers focusing on business unit needs. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining quality standards for customers according to SLA requirements in terms of rates, costs, and durations
  • Ensuring business unit-level KPI's are achieved
  • Guiding the team to carry out work aligned with customer needs
  • Demonstrating dedication to the Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting all staff to do the same
  • Implementing systems for knowledge management relevant to your role and assigned customer
  • Performing various assessments such as worksite, vocational, functional, ergonomic, equipment, home, and job analysis as needed
  • Leading and engaging the team in implementing the service delivery model
  • Collaborating with insurers, medical professionals, employers, and workers to reach suitable solutions for all parties
  • Conducting critical case reviews to drive strategic decision-making and effective rehabilitation
  • Ensuring compliance with divisional service standards
  • Nurturing an organizational culture focused on quality and service excellence
  • Managing relationships with strategic customers in line with business unit requirements

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to $100k plus super and travel perks
  • Travel allowance of $150 per fortnight

About You:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and full registration
  • Extensive experience in the occupational rehabilitation sector
  • Specialized skills with a strong industry reputation based on knowledge and expertise
  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering occupational rehabilitation services and managing portfolios strategically
  • Customer-centric approach with experience in managing service agreements
  • Proven ability to generate referrals independently and build a client base
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in training and coaching
  • Integrity in claims management and adherence to contractual guidelines
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence holder
  • Advanced understanding of worker's compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety laws
  • Eligibility to work permanently in Australia
