Your role


Manage a team of technical specialists responsible for the operational maintenance of the organisation's ICT environment through the provision of technical support and advice to users across multiple locations, platforms and technologies.


What you'll do

  • Manage the consistent use of agreed tools and methods to address and resolve user identified problems in line with service level agreements
  • Escalate performance issues with internal and/or external providers to minimise adverse impact of systems availability on business continuity

What we're looking for

  • Strong understanding of managing staff responsible for maintaining and configuring cloud environments specifically in Azure and AWS.
  • Highlevel knowledge of SAN storage administration, including capacity planning, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting
  • Skilled in managing teams, including performance evaluations, setting goals and objectives, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Proactive in identifying areas for improvement in cloud operations, developing and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Communicates effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders, providing regular updates and progress reports on cloudrelated projects and initiatives.
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with thirdparty vendors and service providers, ensuring that all service level agreements and contracts are met.
  • Skills and experience necessary to manage the backup and restore team effectively, ensuring the protection of critical data across the organisation
