A great opportunity has become available for a qualified Line Pilot Li DAR to join our aviation team flying our P68 fleet.

About the role:


This full-time hands-on role reports to the Head of Flying Operations (HOO) and is ideally suited to an agile individual who loves travelling, thrives on change and has a proactive can-do attitude.

The successful candidate will be a team player with a professional outlook and attitude, and must reside within 2 hours of a major Australian city.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely execution of aerial survey missions.
  • Active monitoring of weather and other factors or conditions that ensure safe, efficient flights.
  • Precision capture and delivery of quality imagery.
  • Navigating congested airspace and air traffic coordination.
  • Inspection and monitoring of aircraft, powerplant, systems and equipment.
  • Organisation, neatness, and cleanliness of aircraft and equipment.
  • Frequent communications with stakeholders and daily submission of reports.
  • Maintain aircraft performance within the capture systems operational envelope.
  • Comply with all the applicable requirements in the aviation regulations and in the Company's Operations Manual.
  • Complete all company documentation and administration in required timeframes.

About you:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a small team
  • An Australian Commercial Pilots Licence Aeroplane
  • Experience in Primary control zones (Class D and C)
  • Previous Survey or special mission operations

Meet the following minimum experience:

  • Total Command hours - 1500
  • Total command on ME-Class
  • The ability to work a 16 days on / 12 days off roster (with 4 standby days within the 12 days off)
