The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Consultantto join our Planning team based Sydney CBD, NSW.

Using your technical expertise and proven skills, you will actively support our clients by demonstrating a sound understanding of statutory and strategic urban planning to provide relevant advice and insights.


You will:

Providing a range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, the approval process and management; Drafting submissions, proposals and advice for clients; Responding quickly and communicating in a clear, concise and transparent manner to internal and external clients; Providing input into draft proposals, tenders and submissions for projects; Contributing to the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives and Planning's Business Plan; Working alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to specification, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome; Promoting the firm and its services to create business opportunities.


About You:

Minimum 1-2 yearsof relevant experience in Urban Planning Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planningor related discipline Some experience in statutory or strategic planning desirable, ideally gained in a consultancy or local government environment.

Able to prioritise the competing demands of multiple projects within the agreed timeframe.
Strong capability in written and verbal communications and engagement with a variety of stakeholders.
An appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development.
