What will my day to day look like?


You will be responsible for assisting the Lending Advisor in a number of ways including the administrative loan process and through communicating effectively with clients.


You will:

  • Follow up with Letters of Offer to clients
  • Arrange valuation reports
  • Coordinate settlements with client's solicitor and lending provider
  • Liaise with clients and lending provider throughout the loan process
  • Research products and services offered by lending providers
  • Respond to client queries and correspondence in a timely manner
  • Undertake all administrative functions
  • Manage the workflow for the Lending Service business unit
  • Provide lending service updates on behalf of the firm
  • Provide support to Lending Advisers and take directions as required.
  • Prepare weekly lending reports and monthly business reports in a timely manner
  • Research and implement new lending service offers from corporate
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with the key stakeholders throughout the lending process
  • Build rapport with existing and new clients and attend client meetings
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with Lending Business Development Manage and Bank Relationship Manager
  • Follow up on all new business leads in a timely and efficient manner

What skills and experience will I need for the role?


Ideally you have 2+ years within a Lending Assistant role and have had exposure to the end-to-end process regarding both commercial and residential loans.


  • High level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Accurate numeracy skills
  • High level of attention to details
  • Problem solving skills and an ability to undertake tasks in a proactive manner
  • Proven strong organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality outcomes and coordinate workflow/priorities in competing timeframes
  • Ability to create, implement and adapt processes to manage change within the team and industry
  • Knowledge of industry trends
  • Experience in Flex or Connective
