This position assists Fitzroy River Water with construction and maintenance activities associated with the delivery of water and sewerage services.

Duties will include labouring tasks associated with civil construction, pipe laying, concreting and the operation of heavy vehicles and equipment.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria

• Experience working as labourer in a general construction / maintenance environment (highly desirable experience water / sewerage services)

- "MR" class licence, Construction Industry Induction (White Card), and experience and ability to legally operate an excavator, backhoe, skid steer and other plant and equipment.

• Positive attitude, customer focussed and willingness to work within diverse teams.
• Safety focussed and the ability to identify hazards and risks on the worksite
