About Us
Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) is a statutory body that oversees harness racing in Victoria.

With strong links to rural and regional communities, we are committed to developing a vibrant and sustainable harness racing industry that promotes participation, integrity and racing excellence.


We value all our customers, from our participants - which include trainers, drivers, breeders and owners - to our regional clubs, industry stakeholders and fans of the sport.

We work closely with the other Victorian racing codes to support the ethical treatment of our animals, as well as ethical wagering.


The Opportunity


Reporting to the Head of Media and Communications, the Content Producer will work collaboratively across HRV to create and publish engaging racing media, including amplifying a broad range of industry content.

If you a creative thinker who has great writing skills, a good eye for visuals and fantastic storytelling ability we would love to hear from you

About You


The ideal person has a passion for creating engaging content and has proven or is eager to develop skills in editing, video production and social media.

You will have passion for and a sound knowledge of sports and ideally racing.

A positive, can-do attitude and a great team player who is willing contribute to the success of the HRV is a must.


This is a role for a 'doer', someone task oriented who loves to roll up their sleeves and get results.

You will be happy to work outside of normal Monday-Friday hours, with regular work on Saturday nights to cover metropolitan racing.

The successful applicant will be required to successfully complete background checks in accordance with company policy.

Some travel between HRV head office located in Flemington, Melton and country clubs may be required. The position holder must possess a current Victorian motor vehicle drivers' licence.
