The Role
Lumino Vivia Dental Birkenhead has an exciting opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team on a full-time basis.
The team works closely together to provide a high standard of patient care with the shared goal of making dentistry a positive experience.
As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support.
You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld, and the best patient care is provided to every patient.
You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care.The hours for the role are below:
- Monday: 8.45am 5.15pm
- Tuesday: 8.45am 5.15pm
- Wednesday: 8.45am 5.15pm
- Thursday: 8.45am 5.15pm
- Friday: 8.45am 5.15pm
The Location
Lumino Vivia Dental Birkenhead is located at 182 Hinemoa Street, Birkenhead.

Responsibilities
- Assist Clinicians during dental procedures, such as taking Xrays, sterilising instruments, and preparing materials.
- Greet patients, review their medical history and answer any questions they may have
- Provide patient care and education, such as teaching them proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use
- Stock and order dental supplies
The Person
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental procedures and techniques
- Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
