Kolmeo's mission is to revolutionise the way people think about renting, owning and managing property, and really listen to our customers and their needs - better streamlining of payments between tenants and owners, automating the day-to-day time consuming stuff, and saving property managers time.
Since 2020, we've seen more than one BILLION dollars in payment transactions soar across our platform

With more than 15 years of adventures in prop-tech, Kolmeo gives real estate agencies around Australia the right tools and technology to perfectly balance the tenant, owner, and property manager relationship. In fact, we used to BE the customer - a prop-tech company born out of property management - so we intimately understand their joys and sorrows (and our customers are at the heart of everything we do).
So what's the gig?
Kolmeo is on the hunt for 3x Solution Architects to drive the architectural decisions and frameworks that underpin our innovative property technology solutions. Your expertise in cutting-edge technologies and architectural patterns will ensure the delivery of scalable, robust, and efficient solutions to meet business needs and exceed customer expectations.
A day in the life of a Solution Architect:
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and robust solutions using ReactJS / ReactNative for front-end, .NET C# for backend, and Azure Cloud as the hosting environment.
- Architect and oversee the implementation of microservices to enhance modular, scalable service deployment and management.
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate business requirements into technological visions and scalable solutions.
- Lead the evaluation and incorporation of new technologies and tools to continuously improve the product architecture.
- Document Technical Designs
- Present Architectural Changes at the Architecture Review Board
To hit this job out of the park, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a support engineer role focusing on .NET and Azure environments.
- Strong expertise in MS SQL Server administration and tuning.
- Demonstrable experience with designing and implementing scalable and high-availability systems.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and leadership skills
- Proficient with Azure services such as App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Solid understanding of network configurations, including security settings and other cloud service integrations
- Strong, attention to detail, time management and prioritisation skills, the motivation to learn and problem-solve on the fly, and have excellent communications skills.
