Harmony HCS is an exciting and fast-growing disability service who is dedicated to design and implement individualised solutions that bring meaning, purpose and creativity.

With more than 10 years of experience working for people with a disability across Melbourne, Queensland, NSW, we consistently deliver these innovative support solutions with respect for the participant and their carers.

We are currently recruiting support staff to work in Mount Martha to provide support in a group home facility with clients who require complex needs and care.

We are offering fixed hours from Monday - Friday.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Clear and effective communications skills
  • A positive and professional approach
  • Reliable Car and Driver's Licence
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
  • Flexibility and availability is essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts; morning, day, afternoon, and weekends
  • Relevant Qualifications are highly desirable, however, someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered

Requirements:

To be considered for this role you must have or are willing to obtain the below mandatory requirements:

  • Not listed on the Disqualified Carer Register or Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Current Certificate for First Aid (HLTAID003) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) (Highly desire but not required)
  • Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia (Australian Passport/Australian Birth Certificate/Australian Citizenship Certificate or International Passport & Visa)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Driver's license
  • Current Police Check
  • Manual Handling & Med Competency
  • PEG feeding experience (Highly desirable)
