Your new role:
The F35 Maintenance Controller is responsible for ensuring the F35 Aircraft Maintenance documentation accurately reflects the current state of the Air Vehicle.
Reporting to the F-35 Planning Manager you will:
- Be responsible for the management of the day to day administration of aircraft maintenance documentation and associated activities to support depot maintenance
- Ensure aircraft configuration changes are accurately entered into the aircraft maintenance documentation system (AMD)
- Ensure aeronautical products are labelled and identified correctly
- Work with various stakeholders across the F35 enterprise to investigate aircraft documentation issues and work to find resolutions
- Generate Work Orders and coordination of requirements for emergent tasks
- Liaise with planning team to ensure accurate work scope is presented to the Maintenance work force via the AMD.
- Alignment of aircraft maintenance documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with the maintenance and engineering teams to generate engineering disposition requests
- Undertake technical investigation arising from corrective maintenance requests and draft work instructions to enable a maintainer to undertake the work to rectify the fault/ defect
- Support the maintenance team with administration activities and review/ update processes
About you:
As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Experience with Ultramain or Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or similar aircraft documentation systems will be highly regarded
- An understanding of aircraft maintenance and DASA regulations would be advantageous for the role
- Welldeveloped selfmanagement skills and ability to organise time efficiently
- The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
Clearances:
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
