NetEngine serves as the Technology Division of Scout Talent. Within NetEngine, we operate developer squads dedicated to enhancing our products like the Talent Acquisition SaaS modules, along with developing top-notch software solutions for various external clients. We prioritize building enduring relationships with our stakeholders and creating user-friendly products with effective interfaces.

The opportunity

We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity at NetEngine, merging the technical proficiency of a Senior Engineer with the strategic acumen of a Solutions Architect. In this vital role, you will bridge development and strategic consultancy for clients, catering to their requirements while enhancing our technical prowess. Your background as a developer will be pivotal in resonating with developers aspiring for growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and steer the technical direction for our proprietary products, including the Scout Talent suite and Marketplace, in addition to client projects.
  • Comprehend the nuances of each project, define technical necessities, and efficiently allocate resources.
  • Shape the overarching technical strategy for projects, converting stakeholder briefs into comprehensive technical specifications covering various aspects from dev ops to design.
  • Recognize and tackle skill deficiencies within our development team, actively engaging in upskilling endeavors.
  • Maintain rigorous security standards, preemptively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Supervise code quality, deployment, and project delivery, ensuring adherence to established benchmarks.
  • Act as a knowledgeable advisor for the team, fostering informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Scout Talent Group (STG) leadership team, reporting to the Head of Product and Technology while closely liaising with NetEngine's Dev Team Leaders and Scout Talent's Product Owner.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in technologies such as React, React Native, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, AWS, MySQL/PostgreSQL, rspec, and REST APIs.
  • A solution-oriented, collaborative, and innovative mindset.
  • Leadership in technology strategy, process, and methodology.
  • Demonstrates a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
