Job Description:


We are looking for an experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects in Melbourne, Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the solar industry, with a deep understanding of the local market regulations and grid interconnection process.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of solar energy projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established targets.
Liaise with national authorities and local municipalities to secure necessary permits, approvals, and grid interconnection agreements.
Conduct site visits and assessments to identify project requirements and constraints.
Lead project meetings, communicate project status updates, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide technical expertise and support to project team members as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the solar industry.
Strong understanding of the grid interconnection process for the Australian market.
Proven track record of successfully managing solar energy projects from inception to completion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Experience with renewable energy policy and regulatory frameworks in Australia.
Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, such as solar photovoltaic systems and energy storage solutions.
