About the role


Working as part of the Traffic and Transport Planning service unit and reporting to the Coordinator Traffic Studies and Road Safety, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to plan, prioritise and build relationships and be a team player.

You will be community focussed and work collaboratively with the Traffic and Transport Planning Manager, Coordinator Traffic Studies and Road Safety and other team members to ensure the success of the Traffic and Transport Planning team.


You will lead and manage engagement activities for investigations, planning, concept development, implementation and administration of traffic and parking solutions to deliver sustainable traffic & transport outcomes for the Inner West which address social, environmental, economic and governance objectives of Council's Community Strategic Plan.

Remuneration
$77, $87, Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

  • 1. Relevant tertiary qualification OR equivalent industry experience in communications, engagement, business administration or a related discipline.
  • 2. Demonstrated expertise and skills in managing tools to engage communities online.
- ***- 3. Demonstrated practical experience in planning and partnering with project teams to execute engagement projects.

  • 4. Strong interpersonal, collaboration, stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
