The opportunity:


We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Icon Pharmacy, located at Icon Cancer Centre Wesley in Auchenflower, to help deliver optimum patient-centred care and pharmacy operations.

The pharmacy operates from 7:00am - 5:00pm weekdays, with varying start/finish times during those times.

Once fully trained there is an expectation that the successful applicant will take part in on call and public holiday cover.


In this role, you'll:

  • Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers
  • Dispense and supply medications for hospital and oncology patients
  • Manufacturing specialised drugs in a stateoftheart cleanroom environment
  • Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
  • Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards
  • Complete data entry of patient specific information into database
  • Assist with patient account enquiries
  • Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees
  • Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration

  • Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
