With a history of delivering quality projects to meticulous detail you will be working with a team of dedicated people who all take pride in their work and deliver amazing projects.
The company is working within the Government, Commercial, Industrial and Education sectors both in south east Queensland and North Queensland.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in delivering commercial roofing projects in excess of $500,000
- Full Roof Plumber qualifications or at least 5 years experience in commercial metal roofing and cladding
- Proven experience in planning, programming and scheduling of site work and material procurement and ordering.
- Ability to lead, plan for and manage onsite resources, including labour and equipment
- Strong experience in maintaining and promoting health and safety in the workplace
- Excellent stakeholder liaison and written communication skills
- Review and maintaining project programs, forecast and projections in conjunction with the company directors and management team
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a previous role with appropriate qualifications
- Experience in commercial roofing and metal cladding
- Construction White Card, Working at Heights Certification and current drivers licence
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a large team
- Oversee, manage and deliver roofing projects onsite from beginning to end
- Effective onsite management of all site resources including staff and equipment
- Delivery of projects safely, efficiently and effectively through meeting the project success criteria of stakeholder relationships, time, cost, quality, safety and process compliance
- Adhere to, improve upon and maintain the construction program
- Carry out safety audits, toolbox talks, quality ITPs and site coordination meetings
- Be familiar with AS Sheet Roof and Wall Cladding and ensure compliance of all installations
- Provide practical solutions to daily on-site challenges and obstacles
- Lead, manage and mentor team members to achieve their full potential and ensure behaviors are aligned with the company's values
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Have a trade in roof plumbing
- Experience in Buildertrend or similar project management software
