Job Overview

Komatsu is seeking an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join its team at our Australian Distribution Centre located at Minto, New South Wales.

You will be responsible for supporting daily customer service activities, including but not limited to, daily service communications, expediting of parts picking and providing regular feedback to customers.

Key Job Responsibilities

Support daily ADC customer service activities - expediting of parts picking and providing regular feedback to customers

Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to for all customer transactions

Working towards Komatsu target of 95% DIFOT for customers.

Respond to constant urgent demands from external and internal customers

Provide sales / DIFOT and performance reports to Management team

Liaising with ADC staff, sales and transport providers

Weekly / daily ADC reporting on daily bookings, customer backorders, blocked orders etc

Liaising and building relationships with all internal partners to ensure timely responses are given to customers

Qualifications/Requirements

Tertiary studies in areas such as finance, business, sales, marketing and logistics would be highly recommended

At least 3 years work experience in a finance, sales, customer service or operations role is essential

Experience in a work environment that operates a fully integrated inventory computer system is highly desirable

Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be an advantage

Strong analytical and interpretive skills especially related to commercial transactions and business reporting

Excellent understanding of windows based computers is essential. PC skills required include Word, Excel and Power Point as a minimum

A thorough understanding and proficiency in SAP on all aspects of the SD, SM and Finance modules

Understanding of safety standards and a commitment to safe work practices

An understanding of the mining industry and Joy product range is desirable

Strong verbal and written communication skills including electronic mediums

Ability to work without supervision and set priorities based on changes to daily demands is essential

Logical thinking, good analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure to deadlines

Self-motivated

Able to build positive relationships with customers

Customer focused, energetic team player enjoys working in high transaction environment

Proficient in sales and service order modules in SAP preferred

Parts interpreting and general equipment knowledge desirable

Persistent and resilient approach to solve issues

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail, systematic and effective administrator
