The role

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and deploy occupational rehabilitation services management practices and programs to support Long Tail Claims; including the national CTP injury management framework in consistently achieving return to work/return to life outcomes, expense control and customer experience business targets, and provide injury management support and advice to Injury Management Specialists and CTP claims teams.

You'll be responsible for

  • Lead a national panel of rehabilitation providers to deliver best practice cost effective rehabilitation services across CTP in NSW, SA, NT and QLD
  • Evaluate performance of panel providers across a number of key core elements.
  • Identify, develop and drive rehabilitation service which support the consistent delivery of positive customer experience and improve health, social and commercial outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively with Service Managers, Team Leaders, and Injury Management Specialists (IMS) to build business awareness of strategic priorities and injury management processes, legislation, guidelines, and contractual requirements.
  • Actively contributing to and participating in regulatory rehabilitation related engagement, positioning Allianz as a trusted partner and valued source of expert commentary.

About you

  • Demonstrated Workplace rehabilitation / return to work experience, including rehabilitation provider relationship management experience.
  • Relevant allied health experience - (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology).
  • Ability to drive the success of the injury management framework to optimise claims outcomes, excellence in customer experience and meeting of compliance requirements. This includes building on and fostering positive team culture and robust processes for the delivery of IMS coaching and support of claims teams across the CTP business.
  • Cross jurisdictional knowledge of CTP and/or personal injury schemes, particularly in a relationship management role.
  • Strong strategic orientation to maintain thought leadership in rehabilitation services and implementation of leading edge and innovative practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships internally and externally with clients, intermediaries, and service providers.
  • Project management skills, including planning and organising.
