Program Director Position at a Leading Logistics Company

We are at the forefront of revolutionizing logistics operations and are in search of a highly experienced Program Director to spearhead our strategic initiatives.

What's Offered:

  • 9-month rolling contract role with a daily rate of $2000
  • 4 days in the office per week. Location: Melbourne

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Program Director to oversee complex, multi-stream projects and report directly to the Head of Transformation. This pivotal role involves managing high-impact projects to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling large-scale projects and will play a crucial role in our transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple complex projects across various streams in the organization
  • Report progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management
  • Manage Technology, payment, and subcontractor engagement projects to achieve transformation goals
  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Identify and address project risks and issues promptly
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure timely, within scope, and within budget project delivery
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Promote continuous improvement in project management practices

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Program Director or in a similar senior project management role
  • Extensive experience managing complex, multi-stream projects
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively report to senior executives and boards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Relevant qualifications in project management or a related field

To excel in this role, you must be a collaborative team player who can adapt to high-pressure environments. You should excel at building relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes.
