Type of Role:
We provide crucial drop-in support services, focusing on aiding our participants in maintaining and enhancing their independence. This role does not involve Supported Independent Living (SIL) or extended shifts (8 to 12 hours). Our approach is tailored to meet individual needs without offering comprehensive 24-hour care.

Shift Length & Frequency:
Shifts are typically 4-6 hours long, with the possibility of extending depending on client requirements. Team members are expected to work 3 to 5 times a week, including potential weekend shifts. However, weekend work is contingent upon availability during weekdays; we do not offer weekend-only positions.

Mandatory Requirements:

English Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language is mandatory, as the role involves understanding and catering to the nuanced needs of our participants.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in disability support or a similar caregiving role is mandatory. This experience is crucial for understanding and effectively responding to the needs of our participants.

Certifications: First Aid Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check are required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or Individual Support is highly desirable but not mandatory. These qualifications can provide a solid foundation for the comprehensive support our participants need.
