About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Consultant to join our expanding retail travel & experience team, to provide exceptional travel experiences to our members and customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the customer experience from beginning to end, converting sales to meet targets, creating long lasting relationships that foster repeat business for return travellers and a high level of member and customer satisfaction.
Your key responsibilities for the role include:
- Face to face & online customer service, manage new enquiries, amendments and cancellations
- Facilitate domestic & international travel bookings and payments between travellers and suppliers
- Manage travel credits, refunds and changes
- Cross sell & up sell products
- Attend sales meetings and achieve target KPIs
- Attend industry events ie. supplier & product events, ship inspections & travel expos
The business may consider increasing to 7 day trading in the future, with a requirement for staff to work weekends.
What you'll need to be successful- Certificate 3 in Travel, or higher preferred- 2+ years' experience in Retail Travel Agency, preferred- Passion for travel industry and personal travel experience, preferred- Flight booking experience using a GDS, preferably Amadeus, preferred- Strong customer service & communication skills- Outstanding organisational, attention to detail & problem solving skills- Ability to manage workflow, set goals, meet sales targets & work productively
