Product Management, Regional Colocation

Job Summary

The Regional Product Manager will implement the global Colocation product strategy and provide tailored support with a regional focus (APAC). The regional PM will define and deliver roadmap items and draw from market research and analysis to grow regional revenue opportunity while minimizing risk. They will partner with product owners, regional customers, and leadership on the product's Go-To-Market effectiveness, align regional activation channels, resolve unique regional issues, and deliver feedback to help shape the global product strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Implementsthe Colocation strategy to provide the world's digital leaders with digital infrastructure to support their growth
  • Represents the Data Center Services Business Unit with respect to activating Colocation vision, goals, product capabilities, roadmap, and use cases
  • Contributes to the development of product strategy, GTM, and ongoing support of the product vision and roadmap
  • Helps identify regional opportunities to innovate across our Space, Power, and Services offerings to improve delivery efficiency and enhance return on investment
  • Collaborates with Global Product leads to capture product requirements and develop and deliver the lifecycle of a product from concept to launch to end of life that will meet and exceed regional objectives
  • Collaborates with and deeply listens to customers, sales, and marketing to identify use cases aligned to solutions that deliver differentiated value
  • Integrates insights from usability studies and other research to improve user experience, manage and prioritize roadmap deliverables, and communicate Equinix's solution set(s)
  • Manages customer expectations within and/or across functions as the regional liaison on behalf of the Product Management team.
  • Delivers product training curriculum; participates in cross-functional training and meetings
  • Runs the business: analyze and optimize value chain activities; establish and monitor critical metrics; administer regional promotional support; implement course corrections as needed
  • Provides product and deal support to sales, solution architects, partners, internal teams, and customers in the region

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, development, commercial operations, or similar role
  • Understanding of product management fundamentals such as Lean development methodology
  • Strong technical foresight, preferably with applied experience across Data Center services, Cloud IaaS, or similar high-growth business sectors
  • Analytical problem-solving and planning skills to discover, design, and implement effective practical recommendations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - both verbal and written. Culturally aware and adept at working across multiple geographies
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with peers and key cross-functional areas within the business to be the voice of the region
  • Able to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment, staying abreast of a dynamic industry landscape
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
