We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.
Permanent Parttime - 48 hours per fortnight, Sandringham location ANUM YEAR 1-2 (YW11-YW12) - $67k - $69 K + Superannuation Salary Packaging & Novated Leasing About the role Sandringham Operating Suite is looking for a motivated Associate Nurse Managerwho can operationalise the core values of the organisation, and play a pivotal role in meeting broader organisational imperatives within the Perianaesthetic nursing team.
This is a permanent part time position, located at Sandringham Hospital, a friendly community orientated hospital offering elective and emergency surgical services for Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetric surgery.
We also offer elective surgical services for Opthalmology.Day, Evening, Weekend and Overnight shifts and overnight call will be required.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced perianaesthetic nurse.
This role supportsexcellenceinclinical practiceandpromotesthe developmentof nurses,ensuring the philosophy of nursing and standards of practice are consistently reflected in professional practice and patient care.
Together with the Nurse Manager, the Associate Nurse Manager is responsible for managing clinical risk and implementing systems and processes to improve patient outcomes.
The Associate Nurse Manager/ Associate Nurse Unit Manager facilitates timely patient access and flow across the continuum of care.Duties Ability to manage change Ability to motivate individuals and groups to achieve commonly held goals Ability to work effectively and provide support to staff Fosters teamwork and builds team spirit by role modelling team behaviours Skills & Experience Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
Relevant post-graduate diploma or working toward same.Recent acute clinical nursing background in a relevant health service Current and satisfactory Police Check Current and satisfactory Working with Children Check Benefits Salary Packaging & Novated Leasing through Maxxia.
