Yarra City Council is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person for the position of Community Development Officer

  • Multicultural Partnerships, to work within the Equity and Inclusion Unit. The Community Development Officer
  • Multicultural Partnerships will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a range of existing and emerging community development projects and programs, with particular carriage of Yarra's Multicultural Partnerships Plan.
The work of the Branch is strongly influenced by evidence-based and social determinants approaches. Focusing on building connections, sustaining stakeholder relationships and integrating best-practice responses.


You'll need relevant tertiary qualifications or experience working in a related field and a proven track record in delivering administration and project support in a local government or comparable context.
