This project presents an opportunity for a Principal Project Manager to contribute significantly to the development of essential infrastructure, impacting the lives of over 35,000 future Waraba residents. Managing this project means overseeing the delivery of a critical wastewater network crucial for public health and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the progress of construction activities to ensure they align with project timelines and objectives.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including local communities, government bodies, development companies, and industry partners, to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Leading and coordinating project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to quality standards.
  • Managing project budgets and resources effectively to ensure costs are controlled and resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Ensuring project activities adhere to regulatory requirements, including obtaining necessary permits and approvals in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in leading infrastructure projects, demonstrating proficiency in planning, organizing, and executing projects within defined scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of thinking critically, analyzing challenges, and developing creative solutions to overcome obstacles and keep projects on track.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project objectives, including task assignment, conflict resolution, and fostering a supportive team environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including local communities, government bodies, development companies, and industry partners, fostering collaboration and ensuring project success.
