The PDI Technician role is a workshop role which is focused on the pre-delivery assembly and inspections of new EWP and access equipment. The workshop is often busy and you will be asked to do overtime, to complete a job, or assist the workshop complete a time critical task on a regular basis with this position.
You will need to have some back ground in a mechanical role but a trade certificate is not required for this position.
A positive and willing attitude towards work is essential.
In this role you'll be supporting the following equipment.

  • Boom Lifts
  • Scissor Lifts
  • Material Handling Equipment
  • Rough terrain Lifts

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working with EWPs or access equipment, or other diesel powered hydraulically operated equipment is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience working with hand tools and be capable of completing simple mechanical tasks, like following instructions and assembly of new machinery.
  • Drivers License.
  • Time and organizational management ability.
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal skills.
  • Experience with manlifts, material handling equipment, forklifts or a related industry that would be a strong advantage.
