Requirements:

Key responsibilities:

  • Write and design engaging, informative and usercentric content for BuyICT that enhances the overall user experience, meets Australian Government style requirements as well as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
  • Work with stakeholders to communicate the value of, obtain buy in for and conceptualise content strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including customer support, legals, panel managers, and communications to ensure the content meets user needs and adheres to relevant procurement policy and legislation. Communicate content strategy, updates, and progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively within an agile multidisciplinary team including a Product Owner, developers, user researchers and Interaction designers to make iterative and continuous improvements to content experiences based on user feedback.
  • An ability to effectively manage changing requirements and priorities when responding to both urgent content requirements and longerterm projects.
  • Conduct content audits and leverage data insights to identify areas for content optimisation and improvements.
  • Maintain and adhere to existing style guides and design patterns that ensure consistency and provide a cohesive user experience on the platform.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders, ensuring cohesive and usercentric content experiences.
  • Exceptional writing skills and an adept ability to distill complex concepts into clear and concise content, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive experience for users.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and obtain buy in for content strategies that are aligned with business objectives and user needs.

Desirable criteria

  • An understanding of government procurement practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • A good understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
