Join our Regulatory Reporting Project team, within Macquarie's Financial Management Group.

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator who will partner directly with our Program Manager and act as the Project Team Assistant, to enable effective project delivery and governance.


As a Project Coordinator within the Group Finance team, you will have the opportunity to develop your project management skillset.

You will be a team player, who is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with a changing environment. Previous experience within the Financial Services sector is preferred.


You will have previous experience using your time management and people skills to assist in the delivery of high-profile change projects at all stages of the project management lifecycle.


You will be able to display the ability and desire to problem solve whilst demonstrating an excellent eye for detail and curiosity to investigate deeper when required.

Your strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will allow you to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences.


Your key responsibilities in the role will be:

  • Providing support to the Program Manager and wider project team in delivery of the project objectives as required
  • Maintaining the Risk/Issue logs and escalating to the Program Manager where necessary
  • Preparing governance packs for relevant governance committees
  • Managing & updating the overall program cost budget
  • Assisting in overall program reporting; including managing/creating the monthly Finance Portfolio PMO updates
  • Updating and maintaining project schedules and SharePoint, to ensure effective document control
  • Acting as a point of contact for stakeholder queries and build relationships with the workstream stakeholders
  • Circulate regular stakeholder communications
  • Assisting in the scheduling of workshops, briefings and engagement sessions, meeting minutes
  • Keep track of project funding, and prepare reports on project Budget, forecast and actuals
