ROLE SUMMARY

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Banana Farm Supervisor to join our team in the beautiful Mission Beach QLD area.

REQUIREMENTS

To excel in this role, you should hold a certificate IV or higher qualification with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various banana farm operations to ensure production targets are met effectively.

DUTIES

Your day-to-day tasks will involve:

  • Collaborating with Managers to achieve set goals.
  • Training and supervising farm workers, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Supervising tasks like de-budding, de-leafing, harvesting, grading, sorting, and packaging.
  • Meeting cultivation deadlines and coordinating activities among team members.
  • Managing staff schedules, performance, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Coordinating staff and product transportation.
  • Providing feedback and suggesting enhancements for operational efficiency.
  • Inspecting and maintaining farm equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Ensuring workers have necessary tools and safety gear.
  • Enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations.

SALARY DETAILS

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 per year, based on your experience and skills.
