In this role, you'll:

be a key contributor to a high performing team within our Safety Environment and Regulation Division.

Transport for NSW is undertaking a program of work (
RAISI) to migrate multiple road fixed asset and maintenance systems in to one central solution.

A key focus of the Finance Business Process and Testing Subject Matter Expert will be to support the solution implementation activities of the finance related SAP system functionality in management accounting, general ledger accounting, fixed asset accounting and work order and projects costing including the migration of road asset and maintenance data from multiple legacy systems to the new centralise system (SAP).


You will review and assure that the implementation partner finance functional designs are correct and will fit within our current SAP configuration and business processes.

You will support user testing activities including review and approval of test scenarios, overseeing test execution and defect triage, and sign-off on test execution (UAT and PVT).

You will support solution cutover and facilitate knowledge transfer activities to the BAU support environment.

The position is a Fixed Term Full Time contract until the 31/01/2026 and is based at Macquarie Park with Hybrid work arrangements (2-3 days a week in the office) but could extend up to 5 days a week to meet project timelines.

About you


You will be a qualified SAP Consultant with extensive experience in the implementation of new finance systems related to fixed asset accounting and enterprise asset management domains.

You will have experience in the development and maintenance of SAP financial modules and functionality, with an emphasis on financial and project systems.

You will have previously worked on similar projects in the capitalisation of fixed assets in a large complex organisation. As a collaborative team player, you are solutions focussed and skilled at providing solutions to complex project issues. You will be a strong and confident communicator, as this role requires you liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to drive successful implementation outcomes
