Our aim is to create a diverse, supportive team that strives for excellence, encouraging you to bring your authentic self to work.About the role:Our recruiting efforts are fueled by a wide range of exciting projects at various levels, including:
  • The most significant transportation infrastructure projects (road and rail) that are reshaping our cities and connecting the country.
  • Consultative roles for major projects at both civilian and defense airports and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
  • Projects related to renewable power generation (wind, solar) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) on a scale that impacts entire towns and cities, facilitating the transition to renewables.
  • Projects in the built environment focusing on arts and culture, healthcare, and education, playing a crucial role in shaping how we live, learn, and enjoy urban life.
Specifically, in this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Collaborating within WSP's multidisciplinary teams, leading and delivering major projects in our national project pipeline.
  • Conducting environmental acoustics and vibration investigations, such as noise and vibration impact assessments, monitoring, site inspections, mitigation, and management.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Performing noise predictions using specialized acoustic models and software, and analyzing and processing data.
  • Producing technical reports for review.
  • Guiding and supporting junior staff, contributing to the future of our industry.
  • Opportunities to engage across environmental acoustics and building acoustics projects if that aligns with your interests.
About you:To excel in this role, you should have experience in:
  • Leading multiple medium-sized projects simultaneously and aspiring to lead larger projects.
  • Applying acoustics legislation, standards, and guidelines, as well as being a member of AAS or equivalent.
  • Delivering optimal outcomes for clients to save costs, time, or add value.
  • Using various Acoustics software (SoundPlan, CadnaA, or similar), proficiency in mapping software (QGIS, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Providing essential technical expertise across various project types.
